Basic Fire-Fighter Training
Basic Training is a mixture of lectures, home learning and hands on practical work covering all aspects of Aircraft and Domestic Fire Fighting, Advanced First Aid and Aircraft Familiarisation including Helicopters
Vehicle Fire Fighting
All members of the crew must be able to use the vehicles to ensure the best fire protection for both the crew and others
First Aid
AED Entonox and Advanced First Aid kit
All members of the team are trained to use the Lifepak 100 Defib as well as Oxygen and Entonox. Regular training keeps the crew upto date with all aspects of advanced Life support.
As from the 1st of january 2011 the fire Service are covering first aid duties at the museum for the smaller events.
Staff Fire training
Staff fire training consists of both a presentation and Practical hands on training to comply with current Fire Safety Legislation
