Events confirmed for the day:
Meet 'Bertie' the Brooklands Bear
St John Ambulance (Weybridge Division) gave free 30 min
'Breath of life' courses during the event and taught 51 people how to deal with a medical emergency
Small Arena Display
Oatlands Park Pipe Band entertained all during the lunch period
PC UK Dog section and several vehicles informed the crowd about the work they do
Surrey Police did a demonstertion with two of their vehicles
SERV Blood Runners informed all of the life saving work they carry out
Surrey Search and Rescue Dogs gave another great demonstration of their dogs at work
Through out the day displays and demonstrations were given by
On Time Recovery were as usual a great hit with all getting the chance to roll a Petrol Tanker
Tubelines Emergency Response showing people the equipment carried on their vehicles
NIMBUS Fire gave all ages the chance to use their fire figthing system (so easy even a child can use it)
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service Arson Detection Dog informed people about the work of the dogs
RECOVAIR had their training helicopter that could be sat in
Big Arena display
THIS YEAR WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE ROYAL LOGICTICS CORPS BOMB DISPOSAL TEAM AND SURREY POLICE WENT REALLY WELL.
And the annual Cavalcade of vehicles was as normal a great hit with participants and the public with nearly 100 vehicles in the cavalcade
